Why Give to Campbell School?
What makes our legal education distinct from the nation's other 194 ABA accredited law schools? The elements are simple; the difference is profound:
- Our faculty, staff, students and graduates view the practice of law as a calling to serve others.
- Our focus is on the value of professionalism in our students' professional lives.
- Our demanding academic program prepares our students for purposeful lives of leadership in their communities.
- Our small size - where students are individuals for whom we care and we know personally and are not mere numbers.
- Our faculty has a profound commitment to teaching law students.
- We have a Christian perspective on law and justice.
A program of excellence and distinction is expensive. Our Law School receives revenue from tuition, gifts for immediate use (annual fund), and endowments.
Our commitment to maintaining a small student body and intimate academic environment precludes larger class sizes that are an easy route to increase revenue.
Our annual fund gifts from alumni and friends are generally used to supplement tuition revenue.
Our endowment is relatively small compared with other comparably-sized law schools due primarily to its relatively short history.
To continue and nourish the our tradition of a unique and demanding academic program that makes great lawyers, our annual fund and endowment must continue to grow through gifts from friends and alumni and through foundation and corporate support.
