The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law cooperates fully with other ABA accredited law schools in granting reciprocity privileges to third-year students seeking employment upon graduation, and to graduates seeking employment.

Reciprocity privileges are initiated upon receipt of a letter (by mail or email) requesting reciprocity from the appropriate office within the requesting law school, accompanied by a copy of the reciprocity policy in effect at the requesting law school. This letter should include the mailing address and/or e-mail address of the student or graduate.

Third-year students and graduates requesting and receiving reciprocity shall receive:

  • The law school's Alumni Job Opportunity Bulletin published monthly, for a period of three months. The time may extend upon request.
  • Use of reference materials upon advance notice of plans to visit the law school.

Due to the demands of the fall semester, reciprocity will not be granted from August 1 to December 1.

Requests for privileges in addition to those stated above shall be granted at the discretion of the Associate Dean. The privileges of participating in on-campus interviews and resume referrals are not extended to third-year students or graduates receiving reciprocity.

When responding to a listing in the law school's Alumni Job Opportunity Bulletin, a third-year student or graduate receiving reciprocity shall state in his or her cover letter to the employer that the response is made pursuant to a reciprocity agreement between Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and the third-year student's law school.

The Associate Dean has the discretion to review each request independently and make a decision to grant or deny services of the office based on the demands of Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law Students and/or alumni, and demands of the faculty, staff, and Board of Trustees of Campbell University.
