The Moot Court Association is composed of law students who have participated in the intramural moot court competition sponsored by the Association. This competition determines the moot court teams which represent the Campbell Law School in the:

• National Moot Court competition
• John Marshall National Moot Court competition
• National Appellate Advocacy competition
• Jerome Prince Evidence Moot Court competition
• Other competitions in which the School of Law participates

Each fall, the Moot Court Board sponsors an intramural appellate advocacy competition open to all members of the second-year class. Participation in the competition provides students with the opportunity to develop oral advocacy and appellate brief writing skills taught in the first-year legal methods class. Students who participate receive one hour of academic credit in addition to invaluable advocacy skills. Those students who finish among the top 20 competitors are eligible to be chosen to compete in regional and national Moot Court competitions.
