Exceptional Bar Passage Rate
No law school in North Carolina has had greater success preparing students for the bar examination. Campbell Law School graduates have achieved the highest average overall bar passage rate among North Carolina law schools over the last 15 years.
For the record:
- The 1994 graduating class scored a 100% pass rate on the North Carolina Bar Exam, an accomplishment yet to be matched.
- The Class of 2006 continued Campbell's tradition of success, scoring an impressive 97% on the 2006 July North Carolina Bar Exam.
- A Campbell law education travels well. Our graduates enjoy a similarly high bar passage rate on exams in other states. Our ten graduates who took five out-of-state bar exams in July 2006 had a 100% passage rate. Campbell graduates can be found practicing in 39 states and six countries.
A Demanding Curriculum Produces Great Lawyers Ready to Perform
Most law schools typically assume their graduates will complete their legal training in the first few years of practice following law school. Our unusually rigorous and demanding curriculum prepares graduates to put their knowledge and skills to work immediately. Judges and lawyers who have seen our graduates in action confirm this assessment.
The Perfect Blend of Legal Knowledge and Professional Skills
Like the practice of law, our course of study demands mastery of a combination of theoretical legal inquiry and extensive professional and practical skills. This extraordinary preparation allows Campbell law students and graduates to provide immediate impact in the firms and organizations in which they work. The Campbell law program produces students dedicated and ready to deliver high quality legal services to your clients and the community.
I lead our firm's litigation practice and represent clients in patent, trademark, and copyright litigation as well as advising them on IP management, licensing, franchising, and entertainment law. Campbell gave me the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the legal profession. The School of Law forces students to think analytically and places significant focus on reading, understanding and applying cases. The legal profession rewards competence and hard work. Campbell produces able attorneys because success at the school depends on focused and diligent effort. Not all law schools instill such a work ethic.
