The Time is Now

Campbell School of Law, boasting more than three decades of excellence in legal education, is relocating to Raleigh, the hub of the region’s substantive legal work, policy development, and legal decisions.

As the state capital, Raleigh is home to state trial and appellate courts, federal courts, scores of law firms and corporate offices, numerous federal and state agencies, the executive branch of state government, and the North Carolina General Assembly.

Raleigh also offers much more: It was nationally ranked the “No.1 Best Place for Business and Careers and the No.1 Best U.S. City for Jobs” by Forbes Magazine in 2007. Raleigh was also named the “No.3 Top City for African Americans to Live, Work, and Play” by Black Enterprise in 2007, and one of the “10 Best Cities for Singles” by Forbes Magazine in 2006.

With the nation's highest percentage of college graduates, aged 25-34, and the highest concentration of PhDs per capita, Raleigh-Durham is a center for thriving information technology and bio-tech businesses.

Current plans call for opening our new facility at 225 Hillsborough Street by the fall of 2009. We will bring to our new Raleigh home the core values that have made Campbell School of Law a launching pad for some of the best lawyers in the country.

“Great universities make their mark on society by preparing students to lead, serve, and prepare for future generations. Now is the time for the Campbell University School of Law to blaze new trails through relocation to Raleigh.”
Dr. Jerry Wallace
President, Campbell University
